Para mí, el mejor paseo de todos los que se pueden hacer por Segovia es el del Río Eresma a mi manera. Salgo viendo todo el Acueducto en la Plaza de la Artillería hacia la Universidad IE. Bajo por toda esa calle con una curva linda con espacio para hacer fotos del panorama. Siguiendo se pasa por mi bellísima universidad que fue el Convento de Santa Cruz la Real y sigo recto desde el redondel hacia la Casa de la Moneda. Ese tramo lo hago por la ruta de la calle porque los árboles siempre están con colores fuertes en todas las estaciones menos en invierno cuando aún así su aspecto invernal es divino.
Paso por la Casa de la Moneda y cruzo el puente hacia la montaña, cuando tengo el Monasterio del Parral en frente me subo a la izquierda a la montaña y me paseo hasta llegar a la Iglesia de la Vera Cruz, desde ahí bajo la calle y giro a la derecha desde donde se ve el Alcázar arriba desde una zona verde. Me meto al trayecto del río y sigo hasta meterme en su bosque que va alrededor de la ciudad, pasa por debajo del Alcázar, por una parte de parque, por unas gradas para llegar a la plaza mayor y termino subiendo por unas gradas hasta la calle y salgo por la estación de autobuses hasta el Acueducto otra vez.
Este paseo es divertidísimo de hacer con mis amigos y luego pasear por el Acueducto o Plaza Mayor cuando se tiene tiempo los fines de semana. Lo que más me gusta es que siento que estoy en la plena naturaleza con solo caminar unos minutos más lejos de la ciudad amurallada. Se respira otro aire y se regresa siempre de mejor humor a casa a seguir o empezar la semana. ¡Y hasta se ven perritos preciosos!

My favorite walk to do around Segovia is the one that goes by the Eresma river, my way. I usually leave my house and pass by the Aqueduct in the Plaza de la Artilleria in direction of IE University. I take that road down since I like the trees and stops like the one on the curve before reaching University where you can stop for pictures. I then pass by my beautiful university which was once the Convent of Santa Cruz la Real and continue until Casa de La Moneda. This bit I always do using the sidewalk because I always enjoy the view and trees around it which always have strong colors except for winter where still it’s wintery view is beautiful.
I pass by Casa de la Moneda and cross the bridge towards the mountain. When I have the El Parral Monastery in front of me, I turn left towards the mountain and walk to the Vera Cruz Church. Once I’m there I go down the road and take a right from which I can see the Alcazar from a nice green area. I take the river route next and continue until I go in the park that goes around the city, passes under the Alcazar and next to some stairs that could take you to Plaza Mayor and continues until the stairs on the right that take you to the road near the bus station. From there I go back to the Aqueduct.
This walk is very fun to do with my friends and later go to the Aqueduct or Plaza to spend some time when I do have it on weekends. What I like the most is that I feel I’m in a park – almost forest by only walking a few minutes away from the walled city. You definitely breathe fresh air and come back home with a better humor to continue or begin the week better. You even see gorgeous dogs running around!
