El Monasterio de Santa Cruz la Real fue el primer monasterio dominico de España. Fue hecho por Santo Domingo de Guzmán en 1218 y hoy alberga a nuestra universidad IE. Puedo decir que es realmente mágico poder estudiar aquí ya que el campus no tiene comparación.
En cuanto conocí la universidad en Madrid me comentaron del programa hecho a mitades empezando en Segovia y terminando en Madrid y vine a conocer este campus. Desde que lo ví supe la suerte que tenían los estudiantes que estudiaban dentro de un edificio tan antiguo y bien conservado que por dentro parece el edificio del futuro.
El aula magna es una de las partes más bonitas. Es una bonita sensación estudiar en un lugar donde parecen haber sucedido tantas cosas. Cuando me visitan suelo llevar a conocer la universidad a quienes podrían venir ya que dan muchísimas más ganas de venir a estudiar todos los días si es en un lugar así.
Santa Cruz la Real Convent was the first Dominic Convent of Spain. It was made by Saint Domingo de Guzmán in 1218 and now hosts our IE University. I can say its truly magical to be able to study here as there is no campus like it.
As soon as I visited IE in Madrid I was told about the possibility of studying my first years in Segovia and I came see the campus. From the moment I saw it I knew the students there were so lucky to study in such a beautiful olden days building so well kept, it seems like a building from the future on the inside.
The aula magna is one of the prettiest parts of the building. It feels nice to study in a place where it seems so many things happened in the past. Whenever someone comes visit I try to take them see this pretty campus. I especially bring those who could one day come since it’s so much nicer to get up and go to class if its somewhere like this.
