Jóvenes Embajadores de Segovia

La semana pasada fui a hacer el paseo por el río Clamores y me encantó. Como ya había ido por esas partes esta ocasión me pude fijar en otros detalles de alrededor.

Me hicieron simpatía unos patitos al comenzar mi camino que sorprendentemente me siguieron por mucho tiempo y los volví a ver a lo largo de él, nadando en distintos sitios. Les comparto algunas de las fotos.

La llegada hacia el río también pasa por sitios llenos de árboles con pequeñas salidas a distintos recorridos y descubrimientos. Por ejemplo, el de la foto, me salí un poco del camino y llegué a parar ahí, desde donde loveía todo. Les recomiendo fuertemente ir a hacer este recorrido y perderse por algún rinconcito.

Last week I went around Clamores river and loved it. Since I’d already been there before, I was able to focus on different details this time.

I made friends with some ducks in the beginning of the trip that surprisingly followed me around for long. I saw them again every now and then swimming in different areas of the river. I’m sharing

some of their pictures here.

As you get to río Clamores there are several paths full of trees with small exits to different paths and places to discover. For example, the one in my picture, I left the normal path for a bit and wound up on top of that little mountain where I could see everything from. I highly recommend you all to go and get lost on some of these nice areas with fresh air!

El martes pasado me pasé por el Museo de Segovia. Es una pena que estén acabándose los sitios para visitar en mi bella ciudad, pero siento que me he estado dejando las mejores cosas para el final.

El museo tiene cantidad de mosaicos romanos, vidrios de La Granja, tablas de pintores castellanos del siglo XV y XVI y colecciones de monedas de la ceca segoviana. Incluso tienen grabados de Rembrandt, uno de mis pintores preferidos desde hace años. Es realmente imperdible ya que Segovia está llena de historias y recuerdos/tesoros bonitos y están todos ahí.

Es entendible porque el museo es conocido como Casa del Sol después de ver todo lo que tiene. Mi parte favorita era la parte llena de pinturas y grabados pequeños, lindos y llenos de detalle e historia. Les comparto algunas más fotos que de costumbre, de lo que más me gustó.

Last Tuesday I visited Segovia´s Museum. It is a pitty I’m leaving soon and there are very few places left to visit in my beautiful city, but I feel I’ve left some of the best places for last.

The museum has an incredible amount of roman mosaics, glasses from La Granja, tables of Castillian painters from the XV and XVI Centuries and coin collections. They even have prints by Rembrandt, one of my favorite painters since ages ago. You cannot miss this museum since Segovia is full of stories, memories and treasures that are all concentrated there.

I can understand why the museum is known as the Sun´s home because it has a bit of everything. My favorite part was the area full of painings and small prints, they were all beautiful and full of details and history. I’m sharing more photos than usual, of the things I liked most.

Cuando me propusieron ir al Museo Francisco Peralta nunca imaginé que las indicaciones me llevarían a pasear por la muralla y por la Puerta de Santiago. Me encantó.

El Museo está al lado de un lindísimo parque y tiene vistas espectaculares. Es pequeño el museo, pero tiene muchas cosas interesantes. Tiene 38 títeres del maestro marionetista Francisco Peralta que donó a la ciudad. Son personajes de distintas obras que presentaba de romance, música, historias clásicas e infantiles. Además, son hechos de distintas formas para diferentes tipos de presentaciones que requieren títeres con movimientos diferentes.

When I was asked to go to Francisco Peralta Museum I never imagined the directions would take me walking around the walls of the city and through the Puerta de Santiago, I loved it.

The museum is next to a beautiful park and has amazing views from it. The museum is small but full. There is a puppet collection donated by the talented puppeteer Francisco Peralta. The puppets are different characters Peralta worked with from stories of romance, music, classic and for children. They are all unique and made in all sorts of ways to accommodate different characters and presentation types.
